The building is arranged to create an open and inclusive environment, where functions are closely connected to promote collaboration and inspire students to learn from each other.
The foundation of the building is designed as an artificial hill that mimics the natural slope of the site, fostering a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces while creating a harmonious relationship between nature and the building's functions.

The building's functions are interconnected, providing ample opportunities for informal meetings and a variety of traffic flows. The large, open space facilitates constant human interaction throughout the day, enabling the building to be utilized both internally and externally. The sports facilities, library, conference rooms, and cafeteria are accessible to all, regardless of their purpose or intended audience.
The orientation and intergration of the landscape around and inside the building allows for a mindful and relaxing environment.
By analysing the microclimate we are able to determine the quality of conditions surrounding the building and simulate the qualities of the building. It helps to design the optimal solutions taking wind and sun into consideration.
The simple geometry is ideal to utilize the roof for solar panels and produce a high quantity of onsite energy. Combined with a geothermal facility and rain harvesting we aim to be able to supply the building with low carbon heating and cooling as well as a good quantity of its water usage.
While ARROW’s roots are set in Scandinavia, our outlook is global, sharing Scandinavian values with the rest of the world. We’re explorers, curious to discover what can be brought back home following the completion of global projects.
